Our first horse show with the weanlings was in Walnut Creek. We brought 2 colts and they showed against all-age and all-breeds in open halter. Between them they won a first, second, third and fourth place. They hauled great, ate and drank on the road and took it all in without problem! We couldn't be more proud for their first show.
Our second show was in Stockton, CA where once again, we showed against all breeds and all ages. We showed one colt and brought another for company and we won 2 firsts and 3 second places in only his second time out. It was extremely hot but the colts handled it great!
We are already getting ready for breeding season. Broodmares and stallions will start getting DAC Breeders Choice Plus and expecting broodmares will go into their foaling stalls with runs the end of Fall. Make sure your broodmares are up to date on vaccinations!

At Stroud Arabians, we market, breed, train and show Arabians, half-Arabians, Quarter Horses, Paints, and Thoroughbreds. We offer some of the best bloodlines in each breed. We are located in beautiful Sonoma County in Santa Rosa, CA just 60 miles north of San Francisco. We have close access to trails, large competitive horse shows and great people who love horses.
